Training at Oxford Sailing Club

Oxford Sailing Club House

Welcome to the training section of Oxford Sailing Club's website. here you will find information relating to all the many and varied watersport courses that are available throughout the year. We are an RYA certified centre, running Sailing, Windsurfing and Powerboating courses, as well as occasional First Aid and Instructor courses.

Our enthusiastic Sail Training Principal, Richard (see inset picture), can be contacted by clicking here. However as Richard is out on the water most days, it is probably best in the first instance to contact our Office Administrator Sue Burrows

Farmoor Reservoir is one of the best inland waters in the South of England and home of Oxford Sailing Club. Oxford Sailing Club is recognised by the Royal Yachting Association as a Teaching Establishment, which means that you can be confident that the standard of tuition and equipment will be excellent.

How Do I Book?
Course booking cam now be completed on-line using the 'COURSE BOOKING' sections of the training menu in the main website navigation.  Here you can browse an interactive training events calendar for both adult and youth courses.  You can also go to course listings for particular types of courses (use the menu or the following links:)

Adult learn to sail --- Adult improver sailing --- Adult windsurfing

Youth learn to sail --- Youth improver sailing --- Youth windsuring --- Youth multi-activity (sailing and windsurfing)

Alternatively, if you see an upcoming course that interests you on the right hand side of any page, you can use the links to book the course directly.  We encourage you to use the web booking system as the forms will give you a better chance of securing your place on a particular course, but if you would rather print off, fill in, and send a form to OSC, then these can still be found here.
